About This Spot

Stepping into Peter & Annies feels like finding a quiet pause in your day—a cozy nook embraced by the gentle hum of friendly chatter and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Nestled in the heart of Cumberland, this café offers a warm, unhurried atmosphere that invites you to slow down, savor simple pleasures, and linger a little longer.

The space carries the charm of a familiar neighborhood spot, where locals gather and visitors feel welcomed like old friends. Whether you're settling in with a well-crafted latte or sharing a moment over a hearty bowl of homemade chili served alongside a warm cheddar biscuit, there’s a comforting rhythm here that embraces the everyday with care and taste.

Breakfast spreads unfold with thoughtful simplicity—eggs cooked just right, unique touches on classic toast, and flavors that settle satisfyingly without fuss. Grilled cheeses melt with layers of sharp and creamy cheeses, sometimes accompanied by smoky bacon or vibrant tomatoes, all resting between slices of garlicky, toasted bread that feels both nostalgic and fresh.

Beyond the savory, Peter & Annies offers playful drink choices—Italian sodas with flavors that hint at seasonal strolls or quiet afternoon indulgence, steamy mochas crowned with whipped cream, and coffee blends that tease your senses awake. Each sip invites you to slow down and savor the moment.

The café’s heartbeat lies in the gentle exchange between the staff and visitors, fostering a sense of belonging that keeps people coming back, year after year. It’s the kind of place where a simple breakfast or a quick coffee break unfolds into a genuine connection with the town and its people, making every visit feel like a small but meaningful discovery.

Cool little stop I make every time I'm in town. They have lots of great coffee, tea and drink options and their delicious soup comes with a nice warm cheddar biscuit. Highly recommend!!

We drive through Cumberland every year on our way up for vacation and Peter &Annie's has become a must stop! Great coffee, great food and excellent service! My wife had the breakfast pizza and we both loved it! I've had the breakfast tacos and they were awesome! I wish we lived closer, we'd be here all the time!

Came here for an ice cream. It was really good. I definitely have to come back here for the other items they have, like the pastries. The place looks very cozy. The staff was very friendly.

Driven through Cumberland so many times wondering what I was going to eat for breakfast. Now I know. Peter and Annie’s is a pretty neat little coffee and breakfast spot. Great coffee options and simple but delicious breakfast/lunch options. I went with the eggs over easy, toast and sausage gravy/biscuit. Egg were cooked perfectly. Toast is unique but tasty. And sausage gravy and biscuit hit the spot. They also had some nice looking pastry options. Don’t pass them up!
